Your mastery of piercing weapons has enabled you to utilize certain fencing weapons to deliver poison more accurately and with more devastating results.
Infectious Strike will guarantee a poison delivery upon successful weapon hit, ignoring normal Alchemy skill checks. In addition, Infectious Strike increases the duration of a poison applied to a weapon. The power of the duration buff depends on the character’s Alchemy skill, and is as follows:
Alchemy of 00.0 - 19.9 yields a 10% bonus to poison duration;
Alchemy of 20.0 - 39.9 yields a 15% bonus to poison duration;
Alchemy of 40.0 - 79.9 yields a 20% bonus to poison duration; and
Alchemy of 80.0 - 100 yields yields a 25% bonus to poison duration.
